The goal is to provide students with sensitive outlooks, to draw links between different pieces, artists, and issues everyone has an interest in, instead of saddling them with yet another class or theory. Students will have access to free, diverse and thorough content in several forms: talks or performances recorded in one our theatres, shows filmed to be broadcasted, discussions at the Université théâtrale (Drama University) ... Claudel’s take “Forget understanding; in fact, simply forget” could very well be this programme’s motto, the aim being to take a candid, diagonal look on what you’re sure of and to be open to discovering new things.

Il est difficile de ne pas associer poésie et lyrisme, chant ou, du moins, lecture à voix haute. N’est-elle pas après tout « de la musique avant toute chose » et l’art par excellence du rythme et des sonorités de la langue faites sens par la magie des vers ?
En lisant deux des recueils de poésies inscrits au programme de français du baccalauréat, nous ne fournissons pas seulement un outil d’accompagnement pédagogique exceptionnel aux jeunes et aux enseignantes et enseignants, mais offrons à tout un chacun et chacune de découvrir ou redécouvrir dans toute leur beauté sensible deux œuvres du patrimoine littéraire français. Dans la lignée de l’enregistrement de l’intégrale d’Alcools de Guillaume Apollinaire, des Fleurs du mal de Charles Baudelaire et des livres I à IV des Contemplations de Victor Hugo, Guillaume Gallienne s’emparera des Cahiers de Douai d’Arthur Rimbaud quand Denis Podalydès lira La Rage de l’expression de Francis Ponge.
